Ron & Nancy OneSong specialize in traditional American music, including country, bluegrass, western and gospel,
with a repertoire encompassing many styles and eras. Performing as a duo since 1994, they have combined their talents to create a sound reminiscent of the past.
The name "OneSong" is a reference to music being the "universal language"- Ron & Nancy perform regionally throughout New York & Pennsylvania, have appeared at the Ryman Auditorium and the Bell Buckle Café in Tennessee, and have entertained internationally in Canada, France & England. They have opened for many country legends including Tommy Cash, Stonewall Jackson, and John Anderson. Over the past decade, they have been featured at festivals and special events in the Northeast and across New York State. Ron & Nancy have recently been nominated to the NYS Country Music Association Hall of Fame. In the summer of 2000, Ron & Nancy launched an all-new music venue, "The Medina Stone Farm", with a goal of sharing their love of traditional country music in an authentic rural setting. The Medina Stone Farm is situated on nearly 100 acres along the historic Erie Canal, and welcomes individuals & groups for country music shows and barn dances. The Medina Stone Farm also offers Bed & Breakfast lodging in the 1860's farmhouse. Ron & Nancy have been featured guests on many radio broadcasts including WXRL Radio's "Grand Old Country"; "Country Gold Classics with Jack Boland" in Philadelphia, PA; "The J. Gregry Jamboree" in Bell Buckle, TN; "Farmer Brown's Barn" in Syracuse, NY; and "Bill Knowlton's Bluegrass Ramble" in Syracuse, NY. Additionally, they have produced their own radio show on WXRL Radio in Lancaster, NY, (owned by Country Music Hall of Fame DJ "Ramblin' Lou" Schriver) using an old-time format with a mix of vintage recordings, guest interviews, and live performances. Ron & Nancy have created and produced several theater shows including the "Country Heritage Music Revue", "A Tribute to Hank & Patsy'', ''Old Time Country Gospel Show'', "A Tribute to Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash" and their seasonal favorite ''OneSong Country Christmas Special''. They have recorded five all-acoustic projects: ''OneSong'', ''Christmas Unplugged'', "Heart & Soul", "Country Heritage", and "Homestead".
